I rotate through all the areas but spend most of my time in the Herpetarium, Aviary and Primates-birds are my favorite!

Best part of job:
If you are having a bad day there is always an animal to make you smile.

Best experience at the zoo so far:
Getting to go to the UP of Michigan to capture Sandhill cranes as part of a PhD project ongoing at UW-Madison.

If you could tell the visitors one thing, what would it be?:
Take a few minutes at each exhibit to sit and quietly watch the animals. If you slow down and just observe you'll usually see a behavior you would have missed if you just ran past.
