Teachers who bring their students to the Zoo can enroll their class in our Outdoor Bleacher Program. Our 45-minute program features live zoo animal presentations by our Zoo Education Coordinator or Education Volunteers. The bleachers seat up to 150 people, and presentations run at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and noon from May through the end of the school year (early June).

Teachers must call ahead to schedule their class in the bleacher program. To schedule a bleacher presentation, please call the Zoo office at

A donation of $1 per student is requested.

Discovery Center Programs
The Discovery Center hosts year-round school groups from pre-school age through High School.
Specialized 90-minute time period includes live animal presentations, workbooks for the Discovery Center for ages K-5 or tours of the Zoo.
